Thangi Chhangte

Thangi is a missionary partner of Grace Church serving in Asia. The daughter of missionaries and with a Ph.D. in linguistics, she creates alphabets and written languages for remote people groups who have no prior written language. She then translates the Scriptures along with hymn books into the newly created written languages and the people are taught to read. To date, Thangi has developed written languages for 5 people groups and has others in progress.  She currently has translation teams in 3 locations and reports of God’s continued faithfulness in her ministry. Thangi asks that we pray for her as she labors among this region of more than 30 different people groups.
