Biblical Counseling seeks to apply the wisdom of the Bible to the problems that people face.
We believe that the Bible contains everything we need in order to live a life pleasing to God. That is to say that it is sufficient for the Christian life. God's Word tells us where we came from, who made us, what our purpose is, why we are the way we are, where we are going, how to think about ourselves, how to deal with suffering, and how to change. His Word provides wisdom for trials, relationships, work, money, marriage, parenting, conflict, communication, and more. Most importantly, it tells us how to be right with our creator and obtain eternal life.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Colossians 2:3 says that in Christ "are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
